Google apps have created worldwide experiences in the mind of the readers on the development of Elearning. The best of the creative learning is possible when people are together and they unite to do something new. The Google groups, committes and sites help to a large extent in uniting people to learn nad make things easier. This helps promote a new form of online learning. Each day education is reaching new levels with the Google learning experiences. People are more and more dependent on the information from google sites and hope to make them better in future.

How are google apps helpful to the learners?

Google apps come to great help to the professionals in their business and also for the students who use them in their studies. Google apps offer three features. These are Google groups, Google communities, Google sites.

Let us check out the way these applications are used by us in our daily lives:

Google groups- These are great for the beginners who are new to digitisation. The group is created by a facilitator by selecting the app in the waffleboard on the top right of the gmail account. If you are with a learning community and you are sharing some discussions then the messages are shown in everyone’s inbox where you can also reply through a message or by going to the group and posting a reply.

Google communities- Unlike the social media tool, Google app, Google communities allow a large no of online conversations and knowledge sharing. Anyone can join the community.

Google sites- The google sites are best used as websites. These can fit in within itself a large number of online resources develop by the users. Examples of the google sites include adding documents from google drive like docs, slides, sheets etc.

Though Google learning has reached heights with the successful implementation of the google apps, the various challenges it face put hindrances to its future growth and development.

The following google communities will have to have focus to reach its goal. The newness of the tools and the interest to communicate over the web soon wipes off. People gets swayed away to some other factors ruther than using the apps positively. Secondly, with the growing demand of the online learning tools, it is becoming hard to meet the daily need of the users. There is short of supply as per the demand.

Considering the pitfalls of google learning, there are certain suggestions that could improve the concept in future. Have a look:

  • Before you start a community ask yourself, “Is it impossible to meet in person for this collaboration” or “Does this collaborative work have a focus in which everyone involved has a stake in the outcomes?” If you get both the answers in positive, just go for it.
  • Before you continue with your launch, get to know the interest of the users and the target groups for whom the app would work.
  • Be open-minded about the longevity of the Google learning tools. In case of a sudden downfall, look for the options that would call for change in the methods. Never be restless and sit back!

Future of online learning

Online learning or the google learning tools will work effectively if continuously reviewed and updated. Nothing can be constant and every small thing requires a change. The learners will focus more on using the app positively than use it some other way. The developers must concentrate on the target group of customers in order to move on with their creations.
